[Ba Sing Se] Lower Ring

The Lower Ring plays home to the poor classes of Ba Sing Se's society and the majority of its population. These consist of newcomers to the city, including its multitude of refugees, and 'people who work with their hands' such as artisans, laborers, and craftsman. Due to the impoverished state of the citizens of the Lower Ring, as well as the influx of poor refugees, it is implied in "City of Walls and Secrets" that the crime rate is significantly high. Buildings in the Lower Ring are generally small, because the Lower Ring has the most populace and as many people need to be crammed into here as possible. Also, the roofs of the buildings here are brown tiled, indicating the poor status of the owners. Citizens are free to go into the Agrarian Zone, the Lower Ring, naturally, and the Middle Ring, but not the Upper Ring without the personal invitation of a citizen of the Upper Ring, the Earth King or the government.





Glacies arrived after a long conversation with the Gatekeepers.
Once he was inside he was shocked by the amount of poverty but yet welcomed.
It wasn't very new to him. He seemed so out of place in his Water Tribe clothes.
He wandered around looking for a place to stay.

Athens began to wander the streets of the homely neighborhood in search of a shop selling Livestock. He wanted to add Moosow meat to the menu, and maybe if he was lucky, a Pigster. He was tired of having to fight with his friends for the right to hunt and figured that livestock wouldn't be a bad idea. He could afford to buy some animals, he had 100 Gold Pieces from the rash aristocrat.

Zay wasn't hungry. He wanted a pet to help with his fighting. He could buy a baby bear fox.

Athens, however, wasnot as fortunet to find someone willing to sell their pet pig, and thus contiunued on leaving Zay to his affairs.

Glacies approaches a fish market with mashed up hair,
" I'd like to sell these fish"
Glacies dropped around 5 fish on the table. Big ones.
The merchant was definitely pleased.

The merchant made a unclever remark.
Glacies fist clenched.
He quickly left. He didn't want trouble.
Glacies got some supplies before he left.

Athens tried to catch up to Glacies before he left. "Excuse me, sir," He asked, needing to jog in order to keep up with Glacies due to his short legs. "Do you know where i might find a Moosow or two on sale? I have a grand total of 90 Gold Coins that i have to spend," He said, showing Glacies the money.
